We're back with another fantastic film! We are continuing our Director's Spotlight theme by discussing the legendary Akira Kurosawa and his seminal work Throne of Blood! Throne of Blood is Kurosawa's take on Shakespeare's Macbeth but set in feudal Japan and oh boy does he deliver in spades...from haunting forests, to intense action, and striking visuals, it's easy to see why Throne of Blood is considered a classic of Japanese cinema.
