LANCELOT DU LAC at Lightbox Film Center

  • Bok Auditorium 800 Mifflin Street Philadelphia, PA 19148 USA (map)

Lancelot du Lac

Description courtesy of Lightbox Film Center:
The final days of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table are dissected in Robert Bresson’s austere yet bloody drama Lancelot du Lac. Utilizing non-actors who were instructed to minimize any emotion in their delivery, Bresson opts to foreground gestures and sound where galloping horses and clanking armor tell a tale of infidelity and revenge. (Robert Bresson, France, 1974, 85 min.) In French with English subtitles

MovieJawn will be slinging zines and cinematic goodies in the lobby before and after the showing. Stop by and say hi to your friendly MovieJawn staff.
