Episode 038: THE OLD DARK HOUSE (1932)
I bid you welcome to the Cinematic Crypt, a movie podcast hosted by MovieJawn’s Old Sport and Classic Coroner, Rosalie Kicks otherwise known as… Batzina Belfry.
Each episode Batzina travels six feet under to pry open a coffin of one of her favorite Hollywood corpses and perform a post watch examination of one their forgotten films. This marks the third and final episode in the series, Haunted Houses in which Batzina examines the strange and unexplained sights sounds of the most terrifying cinematic abodes.
In episode 038, Batzina uncovers the corpse of Charles Laughton to examine the 1932 film, The Old Dark House directed by James Whale. She also drops in on everyone’s favorite village doctor, Ashley Jane Carruthers with a visit to the Morgue to dig up character corpse Ernest Thesiger. Hope you tune in!
In this episode’s segment of Grave Time, Batzina pays respect to dark rides of days gone by with a look at the now defunct spooky attraction, Brigantine Castle of Brigantine, New Jersey.
