It is 1964 and The Big City, directed by Satyajit Ray, is screening at an international film festival in Dhaka, Bangladesh. There are thousands of men and women lined up for tickets to three screenings. There just aren’t enough tickets. A riot breaks out. Over one hundred people are beaten up by the police.
