Billy Wilder’s DOUBLE INDEMNITY is a genre defining film noir. Fred MacMurray plays an insurance salesman lured into murder and fraud by the seductive wife of a client played by the incomparable Barbara Stanwyck. With a screenplay co-written by Raymond Chandler and adapted from the James M. Cain novel.
